La idea
Casa Mijares Collection is a design concept rooted in the ritual of sobremesa: the act of gathering, sharing, and lingering. Inspired by my upbringing, it transforms the home into a space of connection, where objects are not just functional, but facilitators of dialogue, culture, and community. Each piece is designed to bring people together — blending histories, perspectives, and personalities into a shared experience.
02
Los individuales
Individual placemats: each place setting printed as its own tablescape.
03
Printed explorations
Screen printed studies of the table, from aperitivo to sobremesa.
04
Go Fish! tablecloth
Culminating key imagery and ideation into a cohesive tablecloth. Compiled into a three-screen print — hand drawn, digitalized, and burned onto screens. Hand-mixed paints with multiple test iterations. Hand printed on a cotton tablecloth.
Three screens
The tiles were chosen by hand on every pull, so no two repeats match.
