This site collects the minimum data needed to understand how visitors engage with my work, and to let you reach out about projects. Here's exactly what's collected, why, and how to control it.

What I collect, and why

I do not sell your data. I do not use it for advertising. I do not build profiles of you across other sites.
Cookies and consent
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies to recognize repeat sessions. On your first visit, you'll see a consent banner. Nothing is set until you accept. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Third parties I share data with
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — privacy policy
- Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) — privacy statement
- Formspree (contact form delivery) — privacy policy
- Google Fonts & CDNs — used to load fonts; may log your IP per Google's policy
Some of these providers are based in the United States. By using the site, your data may be transferred and processed in the U.S. and other countries under standard contractual clauses where applicable.
How long data is kept
- Analytics: 14 months (GA4 default)
- Clarity recordings: 30 days (Microsoft default)
- Contact form messages: in my email inbox until I delete them — typically within 12 months of the conversation closing
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the data I have about you
- Correct or delete it
- Export it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
- Object to processing or restrict it
- Complain to your local data protection authority

California residents (CCPA / CPRA): I do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may request access or deletion using the email above.
EU / UK visitors (GDPR / UK GDPR): The legal bases I rely on are consent (analytics & recordings) and legitimate interest (responding to your message after you contact me).
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
